More About Courtney
Oregon is my favorite place to live– especially Portland. I've lived in Seattle and San Jose, but feel most at home here. I love going to see movies in the theater; there's just something special about seeing a movie with a crowd. I love music; pretty much any kind but Country. I could spend all day being inspired by Pinterest.
Cuts and Color
I like haircuts that blend and flow, although I appreciate disconnected cuts as well. I love texture; whether it's wavy, curly, soft or matte– it's all pretty. I love rich colors with lots of depth; my favorite is hair color that melts together from dark to light. I also enjoy doing crazy up do's and styles. I never cease to be amazed by how much a cut and color can change and enhance a person's appearance.
Why Hair?
I started cosmetology school when I was nineteen years old. I have always loved art, so I figured I could translate that passion to a career in the hair industry. While at school I unexpectedly fell in love with hair. It genuinely makes me happy to formulate color and learn new ways of cutting and coloring; I never thought hair could make me giddy, but it really does! Eight years after starting school my love for the industry keeps growing. The best part of my job is making people feel great about themselves.
