If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life."- JD Rockefeller
One day my Mom's friend asked us kids, "who wants to play with my hair and make a dollar?" Well, my six year old brain had no problem volunteering to do something I loved doing to my dolls (while making some candy money simultaneously!) Flash forward twelve years to working as the receptionist at Vanity Junkie. Soon after, I finished up beauty school, apprenticed at Vanity Junkie under the owner, and I've been cutting, coloring, and styling professionally ever since. I'd like to think, though, that my training began that afternoon after kindergarten, with my first client that I styled so glamorously with poodle-shaped clips.
I love being part of an ever changing industry; I have learned so much from continuing education, working with knowledgeable hairdressers, and becoming an EVO educator. The best part of being a stylist is that I am able to spend time with amazing people and share my creativity with them.
